Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Wirdii mobile app (“Wirdii”, “we”) handles your information. The short version: Wirdii does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything the app knows about your reading stays on your phone.

What Wirdii does not do

• No account, sign-up or login.
• No analytics, tracking, advertising or advertising identifiers.
• No servers: the app makes no network requests to us or to third parties.
• No sale or sharing of data with anyone.

Information stored on your device

To work, Wirdii saves the following in a local database on your phone:

• Your reading progress: the juz and pages you have marked as read, and your khatm history.
• Your reading schedule: your chosen rhythm, work hours, and reminder preferences.
• Prayer-time settings: the city or coordinates you chose, calculation method and adjustments.
• App preferences, such as the colour theme.

We cannot see or access this data. It is deleted when you uninstall Wirdii or clear its storage in Android settings. If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include app data in your personal backup to your Google account; that backup is managed by Google under its terms, and we cannot access it.

Location

Location is optional. If you choose “Use my location” during prayer-time setup, Wirdii asks for permission and reads your approximate position once, while the app is open, to calculate prayer times. The coordinates are saved only on your device and are never sent anywhere. You can instead pick a city from the built-in list or enter coordinates by hand, and you can deny or revoke location permission at any time. Wirdii never uses location in the background.

Notifications and alarms

Reading reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. Wirdii does not use a push notification service, and no reminder content leaves your device. Wirdii may ask for permission to schedule exact alarms so reminders arrive on time; you can turn this off in Android settings, and reminders will then arrive at approximate times.

Feedback you send

The in-app feedback option opens your phone’s share sheet with your message. Nothing is sent unless you choose an app (such as email) and send it yourself. If you email us, we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply and to improve Wirdii. Ask us at any time to delete that correspondence.

Children

Wirdii is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices

• Delete all Wirdii data by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android settings.
• Turn reminders, notifications, exact alarms or location off at any time in the app or Android settings.
• Email us to delete any feedback correspondence you have sent.

Changes to this policy

If Wirdii’s handling of data changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change ships in the app.
